Michelin-Starred Chef Yoann Caloué Redefines Fine Dining at Café des Banques, Geneva
Michelin-starred chef Yoann Caloué invites guests to experience his culinary artistry at the newly renovated Café des Banques in the heart of Geneva. This modernized gourmet restaurant boasts a fully open kitchen, where guests can witness the brigade in action, crafting dishes with precision and creativity. The open concept creates a unique, interactive dining experience, with the chef’s table allowing diners to enjoy a front-row view of their meals being prepared.
Chef Yoann Caloué, originally from Normandy, has a passion for high-quality seasonal ingredients, especially land and sea products. His cuisine combines meticulous attention to detail with bold, inventive flavors. Guests can choose between a la carte options, a daily menu, or a surprise tasting menu, where every dish is a testament to Caloué’s dedication to culinary excellence. Not only are the main courses celebrated, but also the appetizers and sweets, which showcase his creativity through various cooking techniques and intricate seasoning.
Beyond the main dining area, Café des Banques also offers a cozy lounge upstairs, available for private events. Whether it’s a business meal or a personal celebration, the intimate setting provides an ideal venue for exclusive gatherings.

Yoann Caloué has built an impressive resume, working under prestigious chefs like Claude Bosi and Joel Robuchon, and gaining experience across France, England, and the U.S. He earned his first Michelin star and a 15/20 Gault et Millau rating with Le Flacon in 2015 at just 31 years old. In 2022, he opened Café des Banques, where his “gastro-relaxed” approach merges fine dining with a warm, casual ambiance.
