VULCAIN PRESENTS THE NEW SKINDIVER NAUTIQUE GMT

Le Locle, June 2025 Drawing from its rich heritage while firmly looking to the future, Vulcain opens a bold new chapter in the Skindiver Nautique collection with the introduction of a new GMT complication.

A Globe-Trotting Dive Watch

Inspired by a 1960s Vulcain model, the Skindiver Nautique GMT retains the unmistakable vintage flair that has defined the collection. Its distinctive retro design makes it a serious contender among today’s reissued dive watches. Since its debut, the line has expanded to include a chronograph and now, a GMT model joins the family.

Staying true to the original Skindiver’s proportions, the Nautique GMT features a 38.3 mm case with a thickness of just 12.2 mm a rare compactness for a fully automatic GMT dive watch.

The watch is available with a matte black dial, Super-LumiNova® hands and indices in either white or beige, and a bidirectional ceramic bezel with engraved white numerals. A double-domed sapphire crystal ensures optimal readability, even under water.

Water-resistant to 200 meters, the Skindiver Nautique GMT is equipped with the Soprod C125 automatic GMT movement, prized for its reliability and precision. The independently adjustable 24-hour hand makes it an ideal companion for those who traverse time zones or oceans.

Whether you’re chasing time across continents or diving into the deep blue, the Skindiver Nautique GMT is a refined yet robust tool built for adventure.

ABOUT VULCAIN

Founded in 1858 by the Ditisheim brothers, Vulcain owes its name to Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and forge. Established in the Swiss mountains of Neuchâtel the cradle of Swiss watchmaking the brand quickly gained recognition for its award-winning horological creations.

In 1947, Vulcain made history with the launch of the Cricket, the world’s first mechanical alarm wristwatch. The Cricket soon became an icon, famously worn by several U.S. Presidents, earning it the nickname “The Presidents’ Watch.”

Since 2022, under the vision of Guillaume Laidet, Vulcain has been reinvigorated from its historic home in Le Locle. Today, the brand continues to draw from its legendary archives, breathing new life into the timeless spirit of Swiss precision and design.
