For a second consecutive year, Aperol returned to the iconic Paléo Festival in Nyon, reaffirming its place as one of the summer’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations. Set against the backdrop of Switzerland’s largest open-air music festival, the Italian aperitif brand once again infused the event with its unmistakable orange identity, celebrating music, conviviality, and the timeless art of Italian living.

From July 21 to 26, more than 250,000 festivalgoers gathered in Nyon for six unforgettable days of music and culture. Recently crowned “Best Major Festival” at the European Festival Awards, Paléo Festival welcomed an exceptional international lineup, including The Cure, Katy Perry, Gorillaz, and Twenty One Pilots, creating an electrifying atmosphere that captivated audiences from across Europe.

Perfectly positioned next to the Main Stage, the Aperol Lounge quickly became one of the festival’s most sought-after meeting points. Blending elegant design with a relaxed Mediterranean ambiance, the lounge invited guests to pause between performances, enjoy an Aperol Spritz, and embrace the joyful spirit of summer in a stylish setting.

One of this year’s highlights was the introduction of a draft Aperol Spritz system, delivering the perfect balance of Aperol, Prosecco, and sparkling water with remarkable consistency. Served over ice and finished with the signature orange slice, every glass reflected the authentic taste that has made the Aperol Spritz a global icon.

The growing enthusiasm for the experience was reflected in the numbers, with approximately 15% more Aperol Spritz served compared to last year’s edition, confirming the increasing popularity of the Italian aperitivo ritual among festivalgoers.

Paléo Festival joins an impressive portfolio of international events where Aperol brings people together through unforgettable lifestyle experiences, from Primavera Sound in Barcelona to Coachella in California. More than a beverage, Aperol continues to transform music festivals into destinations where design, culture, music, and Italian hospitality naturally come together.

Created in 1919 by brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri, Aperol has become one of Italy’s most celebrated aperitif brands. More than a century later, its iconic Spritz remains a symbol of effortless elegance and shared moments, making it a perfect companion for the world’s most prestigious festivals.
