Paris, France – 8 July 2026  At his highly anticipated debut on the official Paris Haute Couture Week calendar, renowned Indian couturier Manish Malhotra presents MAA, a deeply personal Fall/Winter 2026/27 couture collection that transforms the timeless bond between mother and child into an extraordinary expression of luxury, artistry and emotion.

Inspired by memory, identity and legacy, MAA unfolds through four evocative chapters Cocoon, Bond, Becoming and Abundance each reflecting a stage in life’s most profound relationship. The collection captures the essence of creation through sculptural silhouettes, masterful craftsmanship and contemporary couture, offering an intimate narrative woven into every detail.

The journey begins with Cocoon

The Nurturing Heart, where architectural balloon shapes, enveloping volumes and protective silhouettes embody warmth, security and the earliest moments of life. Couture becomes both structure and sanctuary, expressing tenderness through refined construction.

In Bond The Knots of Life, movement emerges with fluid drapery, layered textures and sculpted forms that illustrate the invisible yet unbreakable connection between mother and child. Modern couture techniques balance softness with strength, creating silhouettes that flow with effortless elegance.

Becoming Finding My Voice celebrates the exceptional craftsmanship that defines the House of Manish Malhotra. Traditional Indian artisanal techniques including vintage salli embroidery, taban sequins, zardozi, resham, crystal embellishments and intricate hand embroidery are reimagined through an elevated couture perspective. Precision tailoring, architectural corsetry and fluid eveningwear come together to express the evolution of identity with remarkable sophistication.

The collection culminates in Abundance – In Full Bloom, where monumental gowns, dramatic proportions and richly embellished creations pay tribute to the enduring legacy passed from one generation to the next. Strength, grace and resilience are translated into sculptural couture that celebrates both heritage and modern femininity.

Throughout MAA, deeply personal references enrich the narrative. Soft blush and rose tones inspired by Manish Malhotra’s mother, floral motifs drawn from her favourite blooms and jewellery-inspired embellishments become intimate symbols of remembrance, interpreted through the highest standards of couture craftsmanship.

Extending the story beyond fashion, Manish Malhotra High Jewellery introduces exceptional creations featuring monumental diamonds, extraordinary rubies, luminous kunzites, vivid rubellites and rare sapphires. Each handcrafted jewel echoes the emotional spirit of MAA, transforming precious gemstones into timeless works of art that honour motherhood in its most enduring form.

“Before every creation comes the one who made us.” This powerful philosophy lies at the heart of the collection, celebrating the hands that first shaped the creators, dreamers and visionaries of today. Through MAA, Manish Malhotra offers a couture collection where memory, craftsmanship and emotion become one an unforgettable tribute to maternal love expressed through the universal language of haute couture.
