With “You & Me,” the iconic New York jeweler transforms a cherished holiday ornament into a poignant story of family, memory and the enduring beauty of heirlooms.

Some gifts are treasured for their beauty. Others become inseparable from the memories they carry. For the 2026 holiday season, Tiffany & Co. brings these two worlds together in “You & Me,” a cinematic story that celebrates the emotional power of giving, while introducing actress Amanda Seyfried as the House’s newest ambassador.

Unveiled on October 28, 2026, the short film forms the centrepiece of the jeweler’s holiday campaign, “Love Is a Gift.” Moving between contemporary New York and a Christmas memory from the 1990s, the narrative explores how a single object can transcend its material value to become a symbol of love, family and continuity across generations.

For Tiffany & Co., a House whose heritage dates back to 1837, the message feels particularly resonant: the most meaningful treasures are not simply acquired. They are lived with, remembered and passed on.

Amanda Seyfried Joins the Tiffany & Co. Family

Known for her distinctive screen presence and effortless elegance, Amanda Seyfried brings a new dimension to Tiffany & Co.’s enduring vision of modern luxury. Her debut as House ambassador places her at the heart of a campaign built around intimacy, personal connections and the traditions that give the holiday season its meaning.

“We are delighted to welcome Amanda Seyfried as our newest House ambassador and introduce her debut in our 2026 holiday campaign,” said Anthony Ledru, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tiffany & Co. He highlighted the actress’s ability to embody the joy, style and sophistication that have defined the House for nearly 190 years.

For Seyfried, the collaboration is equally personal in spirit. She describes “You & Me” as a celebration of love, family and the traditions carried from one generation to the next, capturing how a thoughtful gift can become part of a family’s story.

It is this emotional dimension that distinguishes the campaign, placing the human experience at the centre of a world synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and iconic design.

A Tiffany Blue Box, a Christmas Memory and a Family Tradition

The film opens inside an Upper East Side townhouse in present-day New York. As a woman decorates her Christmas tree, she discovers a familiar Tiffany Blue Box marked “December ’92.” The inscription becomes a portal to a moment preserved in memory: a December day that would shape her understanding of her mother forever.

In the recollection, the daughter begins to see her mother not merely through the lens of their relationship, but as a woman with her own identity and accomplishments. Wearing striking HardWear by Tiffany jewelry, her mother embodies a confident, contemporary femininity that sits naturally within the House’s design universe.

Then comes the defining moment. A Tiffany Blue Box reveals a hand-painted Bird on a Rock ornament, a gift that transforms an ordinary Christmas into a lasting family memory.

Returning to the present, the film reveals the passage of time. The daughter is now a mother herself, and the same ornament is passed on to her own daughter, continuing a tradition that has acquired deeper meaning with every generation.

The gesture is understated, yet powerful. What begins as a gift becomes a family heirloom, carrying the emotions of one moment into the lives of those who follow.

The Bird on a Rock: A Legacy Reimagined

Created exclusively for the film, the custom ornament draws inspiration from the celebrated Bird on a Rock design conceived by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in 1965. Developed in collaboration with production designer Karen Murphy, the piece connects the campaign’s intimate narrative to one of the House’s most recognisable creative legacies.

The ornament is more than a decorative object. Its significance lies in its return: brought out year after year, it gathers new associations while preserving the memories that came before.

The film’s visual world further reinforces this sense of accumulated history. Objects from the Tiffany Archives appear throughout the townhouse, including Louis Comfort Tiffany’s stained-glass Wisteria table lamp. These historical treasures help shape a home that feels personal rather than staged, reflecting a life enriched by objects collected, cherished and preserved over time.

Through these details, Tiffany & Co. explores a defining characteristic of enduring luxury: the ability of exceptional design to remain relevant beyond its original moment.

A Cinematic Tribute to Love Across Generations

Directed by Academy Award nominee Derek Cianfrance, “You & Me” was produced alongside creative agency American Haiku and production company Radical Media, with cinematography by Arseni Khachaturan, ASC.

Music adds another emotional layer to the film. A reimagining of The Wannadies’ “You & Me Song,” originally released in 1994, transforms a song associated with youthful romance into a reflection on the enduring bond between mother and daughter.

The choice reinforces the film’s central theme: love evolves with time, taking on new forms without losing its essence.

Tiffany & Co. and the Art of Giving Something That Lasts

Founded in New York City by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has long been associated with jewelry and gifts that mark significant moments in life. Today, its international presence encompasses more than 300 retail stores, supported by a commitment to design, craftsmanship and creative excellence.

With “Love Is a Gift,” the House returns to an idea that reaches beyond the holiday season itself. A beautifully crafted object may be admired for its form, but its deepest value can emerge through the experiences attached to it: a Christmas remembered, a relationship understood anew, a tradition carried forward.

Amanda Seyfried’s first campaign for Tiffany & Co. brings this philosophy to life through a story that feels both personal and universal.

Because some gifts are never truly left behind. They become part of who we are, connecting our past to our future, one generation at a time.
